What happens if an ECT leaves a school before finishing induction?
ECTs may complete their induction in blocks of no less than one term.
It is the Headteacher's responsibility to retain records until the receiving school requests them or these can be transferred between the relevant Appropriate Bodies.
Schools will need to submit an Interim Report if an ECT leaves in between Progress Review or Assessment points.
